Screening of "Woman's Picture"
Hosted by Ann Magnuson - ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Woman’s Picture is an anthology film inspired by classic women’s films of the thirties, forties, and fifties. The story is divided into three sections, each of which presents a portrait of a specific female character. The segments function as parallel dimensions, exploring thematic connections between women whose immediate experiences seem very far removed from one another. These three sections, here combined into a feature film, are also the first portraits in an ongoing cinematic portraits gallery called
Woman’s Picture: The Series.

Starring: Calpernia Addams, Amy Lavere, and Ann Magnuson
Directed by: Brian Pera

Ann Magnuson will be hosting the event as well as presenting her new perfume in collaboration with the Woman's Picture Series. Tableau de Parfums is a collaboration between Zurich perfumer Andy Tauer and filmmaker Brian Pera.  The fragrances in the line draw inspiration from the characters of the ongoing Woman's Picture series, attempting to extend their narrative realms into interesting new associative territory.  Andy Tauer will be present before and after the screening to share the fragrance and will be conducting a drawing for a bottle of the first release, Miriam, based on Ann Magnuson's character in the series.

We're also premiering a prequel before the film, titled ROSE, which also stars Ann Magnuson, as Miriam, the character she plays in the Woman's Picture series.

Rose Run Time: 15 min.
Woman's Picture Run Time: 104 min.
